Internship at Flash
Flash is a world-renowned house music nightclub and venue located in Washington, DC. During my time at Flash, I was given the opportunity to learn all about the electronic music event industry. I spent time writing tweets that fit the Flash brand, created ticket links for each event, learned a little bit about the production side of things, helped review contracts for our upcoming performers, and updated our websites through the backend.
Although I am unable to post all of the work that I have completed during my time with Flash, I have uploaded PDF's of the tweets I helped create for promotions, an example of a set list that I put together for each event, and also our promotional flyers with headliners that I completed contracts for.
Promotional Tweets (Rough Drafts)
When I worked with the marketing team, I assisted with writing promotional tweets for the Flash DC Twitter account. As time went on, I was able to grow as a writer and figure out different ways to write promotional posts. Below I have pictures of the tweets I posted once I got more comfortable writing for Flash.

Promotional Tweets (Final Drafts)
Once I felt more comfortable writing tweets, I was able to have them posted on the Flash Twitter account. To the left are a few of the Tweets that I wrote that were published.

Contracts Signed For Headliners
Every party is different, because we hire artists from around the world to come and play at Flash. I was given the opportunity to communicate with agents and sign and return contracts for their artists. The headliners on the posters listed to the left are just a few of the artists that I completed contracts for. Those contracts include Tin Man, Dj W!ld, John Acquaviva, Steve Bug, and Derrick May.
Example of Set List
To the left is an example of what each set list looks like that I put together for each event every weekend. This sheet is hung up in the front of the club and next to the ticket booth to show people where each artist will be performing.
